Dear visitors, I would like to invite you in an interesting and fascinating virtual travel on the river Argut (right inflow of Katun). We*ll appear in the beautiful highland not similar on anything else. The imagination of Nature is expressed here in the improbable plastic  and schedule of rocks, in impetuous streams of water and ice, in the special sensation of wildness and first origin. Its name Argut has received from the altay narrow long vessel intended for whipping of cream. The violent stream of greenish water rushing through labyrinth of canyons is shaken up there in a white foam. Heroes of our slide - program will help you to sense real feelings of emotional dilution in the elements. Together with participants of the expedition which had taken place in March, 2005 you will observe herds of mountain goats and marals, search for traces of a snow leopard, get acquainted with rock paintings of ancient people. You are waited with many other adventures. The drawings of ancient Altay painters presented in photos of Alexander Lotov, are not known yet to a modern archeologic science! What else ancient secrets are concealled with the valley of Argut? Only additional expeditions can answer this question.
I have called our joint travel by virtual ecological game «Together with Heroes». What is the sense and value of this game? I shall begin that this expedition has been organized by the ecocenter "Arhar" (Gorno-Altaisk) at support of the World Wide Fund. Similar expeditions is the reality of center "Arhar", which carried out only in 2004 year five significant expeditions across Mountain Altai, Tuva and Mongolia. Originally ideas of similar expeditions are directly connected with the image of Argali that is the altay mountain ram. Mountain rams name else as Arhars and Argali is their biggest subspecies. The weight of a mail reaches 200 kg. Diameter of the basis of the horn coiled in a spiral is 18-19 sm. It is possible to name the superram who carries similar horns 1,5-2,0 metres long an alive gold fleece! The idea of combination of images of Heroes from the Greek epos «the Gold Fleece» with images of participants of Argali expeditions has occurred to me several years ago. Many coincidences seem improbable. Argali is the altay mountain ram, that practically means the gold mountain ram. «Argali expedition» is agreed on a pronunciation with «Argo expedition». It is possible to tell similar about the word Argut. Charles Linnej who has named the genus of mountain rams Ovis ammon linnaens was a real poet. He has connected an image of arhars with the king Ammon of Egyptian gods, knowing that the ram is the sacred animal of this god (e.g., the ram from Ammon temple in Karnak). In latin name Argali the word ammon is used twice - Ovis ammon ammon! The verb amo – to love is close to word Ammon. Following K.Linneja*s example I have made practically literal semantic translation of latin name Argali into Russian. «The Omen of King of Gods » has turned out at me! Being the sacred animal of Ammon Argali is really his omen. Even the word Ovis is close to the word Avis, one of which values is the Omen. The attention of space Eternity such a symbolical way has been chained to the Altai Mountains through the image of Argali!
Reading the epos «Gold Fleece» I have understood that Heroes there do not compete (as modern superheroes), but unite their efforts in searches of the gold fleece, the possession of which brought prosperity and well-being. In my opinion the association of efforts does not contrary to the competitive spirit between Heroes. Comprehension of
the image of Argali (studying, protection of this animal), participation in «Argali expeditions» (harmonious connection with the elements of Nature) brings to modern Heroes not comparable sensation of pleasure and happiness that gives well-being in life and huge creative impulse. Disk "Argut" is the first one telling about New Heroes. The subsequent disks will immediately tell about «Argali expeditions». However, «Argut expedition» can be also considered as «Argali expedition». The plateau Ukok – a mistic heart of Asia is the last snow leopard*s country of consignment for New Heroes!
Dear spectators, participants of the ecological game «Together with Heroes» now you know, that the word Hero carries very important symbolical and semantic sense. To be together with Heroes means also to be in the space of Argali and gold fleece. That small part of experiences of the Nature which will bring to you an image of the New Hero, will help to make your life more harmonious, happy and safe. It does not mean, that the New Hero is a certain rigid intermediary between you and the Nature. The New Hero is first of all your friend and the assistant. Real participants of Argali space have such attractive qualities which can be necessary and useful also for you. Above all New Heroes are the professionals of their own affair. They are very persistent in achievement of hand-picked objects. Heroes reach the purposes even when associates are passive and do not trust, that these ones can be achieved. It is possible to tell, that Heroes always achieve the purpose, even at their own internal level. This is the property of their Nature! New Heroes have plastic, harmonious mentality. They are capable to adjust effectively dialogues between people. They are democratic and free persons. They do not accept dictatorship and violence at all. It is impossible to force them to go against their internal principles. They are ready to suffer difficulties and privations, but never will go against their own nature. In this sense the pride of Heroes has purely fundamental, world outlook character. As Faina Ranevskaya has told once, it is necessary to be such majestic to be higher than the ambition.
Dear visitors, I hope, that You are not so frightened by the image of New Hero. They are the same people as well as you, only they find more time for contact with the Nature, quiet internal world viewing. I do not call you to start immediately on dangerous, extreme journey. Show imagination and you will see around yourselves much things to make with advantage for yourself and the society. Are you ready to be «together with Heroes»?!
In Argut valley there is an interesting stone. The traveller who is passing by, should twist it necessarily. Find the photo with this stone. Twist mentally the stone and be together with Heroes! Pleasant travel! (
